For those that read my blog and don’t already know, Tanya, my amazing girlfriend, and I recently got engaged which was pretty freaking cool. I got engaged the night before a mutual friend, Estelle, got married, so we gave her a pretty cool wedding present. She found out as we went through the receiving line in front of the church (we sat in the 2nd row). Tanya said to her “I have something to tell you later” and Estelle immediately grabbed Tanya’s hand, saw the ring, and literally jumped in front of the rest of the guests. Pretty cool reaction.
Anyways, since the almost 2 weeks that we got engaged, we have already gotten some plans rolling. We have booked the church and reception hall. So, barring any unforeseen complications, the wedding and reception will be in Madison, WI on August 9th, 2008. We are both excited to continue the wedding plans, though I am leaving the decorating and invitations to Tanya. I am sure I would screw something up anyways.
I will be adding a page specifically for wedding info. Also, any blog post on the wedding will be categorized as such.
